Welcome
His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj is one of the most respected Hindu leaders in the world today. He is gracing London to bless the people of UK and Europe.
Everyone is welcome to visit BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir – popularly known as ‘Neasden Temple’ – to receive his darshan and blessings. No registration is required for entry.
Kindly note that seating within the main assembly hall is limited. Hence, certain events will have priority seating for registered participants, for example, children on Bal-Balika Din. Nevertheless, others are also welcome on this and other days. If the hall’s capacity is reached, overflow seating is available where visitors will be able to enjoy the programme on large screens.
Thank you for your cooperation. We hope you have a spiritually enriching experience.

Dress Code
Tops must cover the shoulders, chest, navel, and upper arms. Leg-wear must be at least below knee-length.

Please deposit all large bags and cameras in the Baggage Cabin in Yogi Hall opposite the Mandir on Brentfield Road prior to entering the complex.
Please remember to collect your belongings when you leave.

It is customary to remove footwear upon entering any part of the Haveli complex. Shoe racks are provided within the complex.

Seating within the main assembly hall is limited. Hence, seats, especially chairs, will be allocated strictly on a first come, first served basis.
Overflow seating will be available where visitors will be able to enjoy the programme on large screens.
All visitors are requested to respect the seating arrangements as guided by volunteers.

Children are welcome. However, visitors aged 16 or under must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

For Parents & Children
Children are more than welcome at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir! His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj believes that the Mandir belongs to them just as much as it does to anyone else.
To ensure that we can provide the best possible experience to them as well as their parents, please bear in mind the following guidelines and information.
Safety Notice
Please do not leave young children unattended! Children who are left unattended will be returned to their parents immediately by volunteers.
Nursing Room
The small crèche near the mahila foyer is available as a nursing room for nursing mothers and babies. Only mothers are permitted to enter this room.
Children’s Play Area
The Reception Hall is available as an un-supervised children’s facilities area for fathers, mothers and children to use freely – for changing, feeding, and for young children to have space to play. A microwave is also available here, if required.
Baby Bags
Baby bags are not permitted in the assembly hall. Please store these in the small crèche (nursing room) or in the Reception Hall (children’s play area). A small bag for toys and essentials may be taken into the assembly hall, provided it can easily fit in your lap.
Prams
Please fold away prams when storing them in the Mandir – pram storage is in the Reception Hall – to allow as many prams as possible to be safely accommodated.
Reserved Seating
There is a reserved seating area for mothers with babies in the assembly hall during daily Puja Darshan and most evening programmes. Please find this nearest to the doors of the mahila corridor for ease of entry and exit.
Feeding Area
There is a special artificial grass area in the mahaprasad marquee for children to eat on.
Thank you for your cooperation. We hope you and your children have an enjoyable experience.
